For the past 30 years, I have worked with children. I have found out what they want to learn. The songs I write are for them - "feel good songs for children." They inspire me.

My students' faces light up when we sing these songs to each other.

| Over the years, I have written a collection of songs with the sole purpose of giving children simple messages they can use - to remind them that we all change, that each one of us has a "greatness" inside, and that every one of us has a role in bringing peace to our world.
I tell the kids I know - in my physical education class and in life - "think with your heart." This simple message teaches us all to be kind to one another.

My newest CD is called "Celebrate Yourself." There's a video of one of the songs on that CD - "You Are Beautiful" - below. It features my good friend and the fabulously talented musician, Lou Volpe, who produced this CD for me. (He and I are pictured above at a concert for kids of my music at a Barnes & Noble store.) Most of all, it includes children. The joy they show in hearing the message of my music encourages me to keep writing and recording.
Keep an eye on this web site as it expands to include more of my songs and their lyrics, as well as comments from young people and their families - and the first-class artwork of the children in my life and school.

Do you have a favorite teacher? I do! Here is a story about my gym teacher. Her name is Glo Dio Dati. We call her Ms. Dio. She talks about all sorts of stuff. But the #1 thing she is sure good at is making peace and staying healthy. She writes her own songs to spread peace and kindness all around the world. Every Friday, I get so excited. I get excited because it's my gym day.

Your song 'You Are Beautiful' makes me feel so special inside. I used to think that I was not pretty. Then, I listened to your song, and it made me feel happy inside. That's where real beauty comes from . . . inside my heart.
